Water Resistance - Text
1. No Marking On Watch
Do not get wet at all.
2. Water Resistant Marking
Built with water resistant parts but not tested for water resistance. Advisable to avoid water.
3. 3ATM,30meter, 100feet Markings
Normal daily water contact. Will withstand incidental splashes of water such as rain, sink, washing face, etc.
4. 5ATM,50meters,165feet Markings
Suitable for light swimming or for showering but not for diving or aggressive swimming.
5. 10ATM, 100meters, 330feet Markings
Suitable for swimming, shallow diving or snorkeling but not scuba diving.
Water Care - Text
1. Avoid leaving your watch in any extremes for long periods of time.
Avoid direct sunlight, extremely warm or extremely cold locations. Extreme heat will cause malfunctioning and shorten the life of your battery. Extreme cold will cause your watch to gain or lose time.
2. Avoid wet conditions unless your watch is suited for them.
Never operate any of the function buttons or crown when the watch is submerged in water. Should water or condensation appear in the watch face, have the watch checked immediately. Water can corrode electronic parts inside the case. Please see the back of your watch case or warranty and instructions that came with your watch to determine your watch water resistant rating. Please be aware that the leather strap can be ruined by excessive water and the water resistance rating does not apply to leather but the working components of your watch.
3. Avoid extreme shock or impact.
Watches are designed to withstand impact under normal use. The watch is not designed for severe conditions.
4. Avoid using soap or other chemicals that could damage your watch.
Avoid wearing your watch in the presence of strong chemical, solvents or gases. They may cause discoloration, deterioration or damage to the case. band and other components.
5. Avoid strong electric fields or static electricity which could harm your watch mechanics.
Generally, your watch is not affected by magnetic fields from such household appliances as television sets and stereos.
6. Keep your watch clean.
Clean your watch with a soft cloth and water only. Do not submerge your watch under water unless it is water rated (see case back). After salt-water use, rinse watch under tap water and wipe dry with a soft cloth. Metal watch bands should be washed periodically to keep them looking beautiful. Clean with a soft brush dipped in mild soapy water. Be sure to wipe dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
7. Periodic Inspection
We recommend having your watch checked once every year or two to ensure long use and trouble free operation.
